Yesterday, Roto Frank of America, Inc. welcomed Maria Tomasetti, the South Central Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, CT Chapter, to Chester so the company could present a donation to the CT Alzheimer’s Association.
“Thank you to all Roto-Frank employees for selecting the Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter for your 2019 Employee Charity Campaign. We greatly appreciate your donation! Your generous donation helps us to help families living with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia through our information, education and support services and also helps to fund research efforts,” said Maria Tomasetti.
Employees vote for a charity of choice at the beginning of each year, and this year they chose to have their charity be the Alzheimer’s Association CT Chapter. Through payroll contributions, 50/50 raffles, bake sales, and a memorial wall in their cafeteria they raised $1585. The Alzheimer’s Association also provided RFA with pamphlets, brochures and other information to distribute to employees to help recognize the symptoms of Alzheimer’s and list resources for those affected by the disease.
