Roto North America’s President and CEO, Chris Dimou, participated in the “Roundtable: Workforce Development for German Companies in Connecticut” hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce (GACC) on May 11, 2018 in New York City.
The GACC brought together industry leaders who have active roles in administering vocational training programs. Among the topics discussed were Dual Apprenticeship programs, which is a highly successful vocational / educational program that began in Germany and is now recognized globally, along with its positive impact on the locations where they have been implemented along the east coast of the US. Specifically addressed was how the German Dual System of Vocational Training can enhance US vocational training programs.
After the conclusion of the roundtable, Dimou met with Dietmar Rieg, President and CEO of the GACC NY, and agreed on organizing a similar event that will be hosted by Roto Frank of America in the Fall of 2018.
