Roto North America President, CEO, and Chairman of the Middlesex Chamber Manufacturing Council Chris Dimou, Connecticut Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, Connecticut Chief Manufacturing Officer Paul Lavoie and other members at the Made in America breakfast meeting. On Monday, April 3rd, 2023, Roto North America President & CEO, Chris Dimou,  in his role as Chairman of the Middlesex Chamber Manufacturing Council accompanied his colleagues at the “Made in America” breakfast meeting. They were honored to be joined by Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, who served as the keynote speaker for the opening of this event.

Following the breakfast, Jeff White of Robinson + Cole, Connecticut’s Chief Manufacturing Officer Paul Lavoie, and Brian Hickey & Rich Meene of CohnReznick led informative discussions focused on supply chain solutions, infrastructure opportunities, and navigating the current legislation affecting the industry.

The Manufacturing Council focuses on the issues plaguing the manufacturing industry and operates on the knowledge that the manufacturing industry is an essential part of Connecticut. According to the South Central Manufacturing Industry Partnership, “Connecticut is home to the 3rd most concentrated manufacturing area in the US.”

Taking this into consideration, the Manufacturing Council invites manufacturers to exhibit at the 2023 Middlesex County High School Career Fair Expo on Thursday, April 27 at Wesleyan University. Manufacturers are encouraged to attend and share valuable career experiences and insights with the students under the hope that it will encourage more students to pursue careers in the manufacturing industry and aid in its support.
