Roto NX is Brought to Life at Fensterbau Frontale
The Tilt&Turn product range from Roto Frank Window & Door Technology dominates the market and is trusted by manufacturers worldwide. No matter whether the hinge side is surface-mounted or concealed – Roto NX helps ensure economical and flexible production of Tilt&Turn elements in all formats and forms for all building types. At Fensterbau Frontale, numerous exhibits in the Roto City proved this once again.
One of the main characteristics of the Roto NX product range is that many of the same parts are utilized in each model, reducing the number of components for storage and logistics. Many of the components added for increased security and comfort are only available from Roto.
With eight different hinge sides, Roto NX makes it possible to flexibly manufacture Tilt&Turn windows in various formats, weights, and designs. All hinge sides have been designed to be processed manually, partially, or fully automatically and are easy to adjust. There is a wide selection of attractive surfaces and colors for all visible components as well.
The new concealed Roto NX | C hinge side supports vinyl and wood sashes in various formats up to a maximum sash rebate width of 5’9” (1,750 mm) and a maximum sash rebate height of 9’10” (3,000 mm). The high functional safety of this further developed Roto NX | Designo hinge side has been proved through 20,000 cycles of high durability tests.
The TiltFirst variant of the Roto NX is a great “tilt before turn” solution for public buildings. When the handle is locked, the window sash can be tilted but cannot be opened fully. This helps protect users in hotels, children’s rooms, schools, nurseries, or retirement homes. On request, TiltFirst can also be combined with TiltSafe, the Roto security technology for greater burglary inhibition.
Even the standard version of Roto NX provides impressive burglary inhibition with its circumferential locking points. Security components like the TiltSafe security strikers for the tilt position improve burglary inhibition without compromising comfort.
Window manufacturers around the world are not only able to purchase hardware technology from Roto, but weatherseals too. This makes Roto the “perfect match” for tight sealing and long-lasting operating convenience. The weatherseals and window hardware can be optimally coordinated to meet the customer’s requirements.
At several sites across North America, Ultrafab produces weatherseals for Roto customers and other industrial companies from different sectors. Ultrafab has intensive knowledge in processing different synthetic materials. The weatherseals they produce are processed efficiently and the raw materials used can be recycled, meeting the market’s demands for resource conservation.
All exhibits presented at the Fensterbau Frontale have also been integrated into the virtual Roto City. Anyone interested in the hardware configurations presented at the trade show can view the solutions with a Roto specialist at any time in the Roto City virtual conference and exhibition center.
