Roto Pleased with Outcome of BAU 2025

“Among the visitors to the Roto City in Munich, customers and partners assured their commitment to ongoing collaboration in 2025, with plans for new and unique projects,” says Eberhard Mammel, Director of Marketing and Product Innovation at Roto Frank Window and Door Technology, reflecting on the successful outcome of BAU 2025. Those interested in the new products and solutions presented at the trade show can learn more in the digital Roto City.

At the trade show, visitors had the opportunity to experience the advantages of various hardware solutions. The event showcased Tilt&Turn windows, sliding systems, and swing doors designed to meet a wide variety of requirements for operating convenience and security in buildings. Whether for vinyl, wood, or aluminum systems, Roto offers expert support in producing tightly sealed windows and doors with easy-to-install and optimally coordinated components.

The Roto NX | C concealed hinge side was highlighted for its ability to cater to the trend for very tall, slim Tilt&Turn as well as outward opening windows. Featuring V locking cams, a lockable handle, and drilling protection, it ensures enhanced burglary inhibition. With TiltSafe strikers, Roto NX | C offers secure ventilation, even when the window sash is tilted. Additionally, a new load transfer component in the Roto NX range allows for higher sash weights.

The applications of the Roto AL and Roto AL Designo ranges are also being expanded to include two concealed hinge sides for aluminum windows: The new Roto AL Designo | STS 180° for flush systems with a sash that does not protrude into the room when open, and the new AL Designo | STS concealed hinge side for a 10 mm profile groove. A new load transfer component makes it possible to achieve sash weights of up to 287 lbs. (130 kg).

Each sliding hardware solution from Roto has its own unique strengths. For example, the Roto Patio Inowa | Max allows very slim, wide, sliding windows and doors to be manufactured with sash weights of up to 880 lbs. (400 kg). Similarly, the Roto Patio Lift | Slim hardware, designed for modern slim profiles in aluminum and vinyl, can handle weight up to 880 lbs. (400 kg) and includes an optional night ventilation feature. MVS contact sensors for electronic monitoring can also be integrated into Lift&Slide elements equipped with the Roto Patio Lift | Slim hardware.

Eberhard Mammel strongly emphasized: “If building elements are coordinated with Roto for a building with appearance and function in mind, it’s easy to integrate important aspects like security, energy efficiency and operational convenience. We can ensure this with our extensive portfolio for building elements of all opening types and frame materials.”

Marcus Sander, CEO of Roto Frank Window and Door Technology, referred to another fundamental pillar for the success of many Roto customers: “With its global development, production, and sales network, Roto offers window and door manufacturers expertise and comprehensive support. Our customers worldwide can rely on Roto’s consistently high product quality and delivery reliability. If they want to expand into new markets, we’re by their side. This is how we create better buildings for a better future.”
