Roto Square: The Edgy, New Ergonomic Handles

Striking lines and bold designs are in high demand, according to interior designers and window and door manufacturers worldwide. With its new Roto Square handle, Roto Window and Door Technology is demonstrating how this contemporary aesthetic can be combined with exceptional operating comfort. Featuring precise craftsmanship and a comfortable grip, the handles deliver an ideal blend of style, functionality, and user comfort.

The initial product range provides a consistent handle design across all Tilt&Turn windows, and Sliding Patio Doors like the Roto Patio Inowa, Roto Patio Alversa and Roto Patio Lift, and Hinged Doors. Technical variants such as Secustik, lockable handle versions, and TiltFirst enable solutions with different functions and security features tailored to individual building requirements.

The Roto Square range is designed to prevent sliding elements from being opened unintentionally. The lever can only be moved from the locked position at 0° to the opening position at 180° when an integrated locking button is pressed down at the same time. For increased security, lockable and push-button handles are also available.

Roto Square also delivers impressive economic benefits. Handles with the integrated VarioFit technology automatically adjust the spindle length to different window profiles. This allows a wide range of profile systems and frame materials to be covered with fewer stock items – resulting in reduced complexity, optimized processes, and greater planning reliability.

The handle’s clean lines are further enhanced by the right finish. Roto Square offers a selection of attractive finishes, including Traffic white, Jet black matte, Natural silver, Titanium, and Bronze. Upon request, Roto can also produce custom finishes, opening even more design possibilities.

Inken Kannchen, Product Manager for Handles at Roto Window and Door Technology, describes the vision behind Roto Square: “With its consistently angular design, the new handle line stands for a clean, modern aesthetic without compromising on comfort. We have successfully translated the cubist design language into an ergonomic form and incorporated it into a versatile portfolio.”
