Manufacturers of vinyl, wood, and aluminum windows worldwide rely on Roto Window and Door Technology’s hardware ranges. At Fensterbau Frontale 2026, the building hardware expert presented not only numerous Tilt&Turn solutions featuring Roto NX and Roto AL, but also a Casement & Awning window equipped with the X-DRIVE Operator, manufactured by Roto Frank of America, Inc. in the U.S. This window, as well as all other solutions presented at the trade show, is now also available to interested parties in the virtual Roto City where a Roto sales representative can take visitors on a tour through the buildings and rooms and provide expert advice on the respective applications.
The Roto Comfort window is already well established in the market. Its extended, ergonomically shaped window handle is mounted on the lower horizontal sash and opens it either to the tilt or turn position. Special components such as the comfort sash stay and an espagnolette ensure exceptionally smooth operation.
Roto now offers two comfort ventilation options for wooden profile systems featuring the Roto NX | C concealed hinge side and a 13 mm axis. A key feature of both versions is the forced opening of the window sash to a defined angle, triggered by the movement of the comfort handle. This makes it possible to ventilate rooms, but prevents the window from inadvertently being opened fully.
Produced in the U.S., the X-DRIVE Casement & Awning hardware features laser-cut operator arms for maximum precision. Two directional fixing is also standard on all operators, ensuring a solid, secure, and leak-proof connection.
There are various hardware options for Casement & Awning systems dependent on profile, weight, and corrosion needs but also a variety of cosmetic options as well. Depending on the operator type, different cover cap styles, materials, and colors can be chosen to best suit the application. Similarly, different lock handle styles, such as contemporary and low profile, are available to suit the varying needs of the market.
Window manufacturers worldwide can source not only hardware for windows and doors, but also weatherseals, sills, handles, electronic components, and glazing blocks from Roto.
