Roto North America’s X-DRIVE Evolve OP08 Operators Win Readers’ Choice Award from DWM Magazine
Roto North America Nets Another Readers’ Choice Award from [DWM] Magazine
Readers of Door and Window Market magazine [DWM], a business-to-business publication that’s devoted exclusively to the coverage of the door and window industries, recently weighed in, selecting Roto North America’s X-DRIVE Evolve OP08 Operators as a top choice among door and window hardware. This marks the second year in a row that the Chester, Conn.-based manufacturer netted one of the magazine’s prestigious Readers’ Choice Awards for its hardware.
“It’s always interesting to see what readers value most among the products we present through the magazine,” says Drew Vass, [DWM]’s editor. “Ultimately, it was the split-arm option for egress they said made the difference for this product.”
X-DRIVE Evolve OP08 Operators give window companies a new option to offer for home egress, while the increased length of its connect arm provides homeowners with a better mechanical advantage and easier operation. On the manufacturing side, operators allow for an easy conversion from standard hinged windows, as only the hinge arms need to be swapped out. Meanwhile, the use of a single arm operator is no longer necessary, reducing SKU’s and eliminating a different route location. The product debuted at GlassCon Global-GlassExpo VE, a virtual trade event co-sponsored by the Finishing Contractors Association International and [DWM] magazine.
“Since its introduction in 2006, the Roto X-DRIVE operator platform has evolved, offering customers a wider range of aesthetic options, reliable performance, and ease of functionality,” says Dan Gray, Director of Sales for Roto North America.
